Isaac Opoku Adjei

Isaac Opoku Adjei is a Business and Regulatory Risk Consultant with over eight (8) years of experience advising public institutions, regional bodies, and private-sector actors across Africa. At Unicorn Legal, he supports the Firm’s litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), energy and infrastructure, and cross-border investment practices by integrating political, regulatory, and security intelligence into legal risk assessment, dispute strategy, and project advisory.

Isaac brings strong hands-on legal experience from his three (3) years as a Legal Assistant at National Trust Holding Company, where he was actively involved in legal research, drafting and review of commercial agreements, regulatory compliance documentation, and litigation support. This experience enables him to work seamlessly with lawyers on pleadings, contract risk analysis, regulatory interpretation, and dispute preparation, particularly in complex and high-value matters. He has also served as a Political and Security Advisor within a national executive advisory framework and currently consults for a multilateral international initiative.

He works closely with the Firm’s lawyers to ensure that litigation strategies, energy and infrastructure transactions, and cross-border investment advice are informed by a clear understanding of political, regulatory, and security realities. His contribution strengthens the Firm’s ability to deliver legal solutions that are not only legally robust, but also commercially practical and operationally resilient.

Among other academic credentials, Isaac has a strong dispute resolution background. He holds a Professional Executive Master in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and is a member of the Ghana National Association of ADR Practitioners. He supports the Firm’s dispute practice through negotiation strategy, mediation planning, and the resolution of commercial, infrastructure, and resource-related disputes involving multiple stakeholders.
